Get to know a few of your options so that you can get started making your choices and adding to your decor.

Chinese Evergreen

If your apartment does not have the best light, you may fear that houseplants simply are not the right choice for you. However, there are plants like the Chinese Evergreen, that are ideal for medium to low light. These plants are slow-growing and can live for up to 10 years or more, and come in a variety of sizes. Add one to a coffee or end table or use several throughout your home to add color and a little brightness to even the darkest color of your home.

Ficus

In a spacious apartment or one in which you do not have a great deal of furniture, a ficus plant can be an ideal option. There are both tabletop and standalone versions of the ficus plant. They are durable and tough. The ficus plant does not require a great deal of watering which makes it easy to maintain and care for.
