Fatima’s Grill #2

This restaurant is unique in the sense that you will find Lebanese, Mexican, and Mediterranean foods on their menu. This means everything from beef shawarma, to falafels, to burritos. See what the locals are saying about this place on their Yelp page.

 

Tacos Baja

This is a beloved baja style restaurant around Los Angeles and a new location has just come to Downey. The fish tacos here are a must-try item, so be sure to order one (or more!). You will also find a variety of other seafood dishes. Their menu can be viewed on their website.

Trejo’s Tacos, started by Danny Trejo will have its soft opening next week. Here you can find meaty quesadillas to fried avocado and black pepper tofu tacos. They will also have seasonal aguas frescas, date-sweetened horchata, or Trejo’s own Cerveza, brewed in the downtown Arts District. Even better? All leftovers will be donated to a homeless shelter.
